What information do we collect, and why?
We collect information about you when you contact us, become a prospect or client, engage in discussions with us or when we provide you with Services (as defined in our Terms of Business). We collect the following information for one of these purposes: name; title; company; e-mail address; street address; and phone number. You may have to provide information to us for a regulatory filing, such as a birth date or other regulatory identification number – we do not use this specific information for any other purpose.
This helps us operate and, if you agree, to contact you by e-mail, post or telephone, about what we do, conferences, workshops, developments and regulatory developments.
If we provide you with Services that entail a regulatory filing or you provide us with documents that contain such information, we store that in a secure, encrypted manner. We use information that you give us, as your agent and after you have certified that the information is materially correct with no material misstatements or omissions, to complete a regulatory filing. All such information and data is used solely for Services or communications with you.
Separately, we use only names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers for prospect and client communications including e-blasts, workshops, developments and conferences.
We reserve the right to use information for any other legitimate interest such as carrying out checks, preventing fraud, maintaining adequate records or for the recovery of unpaid debts.
We would, if required for a Service or regulatory filing, give information to a company other than CG or CGA when you instruct us to do so – to one of your or our professional advisers or to a regulator for a filing.
You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you or giving your information to a company other than CG or CGA. If you no longer wish to be contacted, please email@example.com.
Wherever possible, we will not transfer your information to countries outside of European Economic Area (“EEA”). If this is required to be done other than to CGA, as noted above for a professional adviser or regulator, or for an information or tax return, they will use their internal resource (located outside of EEA) to complete this service, but your information will remain in the UK. Where we do transfer your information outside the EEA to CGA, we use suitable safeguards to ensure the protection of your information.

Unless we hear from you otherwise, we propose to continue to remain in contact with you. If we do not have communications with you for more than 36 months, we will presume that you are no longer interested in hearing from us.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. Please contact us at email@example.com.
You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
We keep information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal information is processed. In doing so we may retain such information for a reasonable time to prevent fraudulent activities, for reporting regulatory requirements and to protect ourselves in the event of any legal claims and complaints.
