Carmine’s career in financial services spans more than 35 years in a multitude of assignments in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Japan and the United States, affording his clients a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Carmine’s career was with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith in New York. After acquiring an expertise in futures and commodities, he became Operation Manger of Merrill’s Chicago Office before taking up the post of Operation Auditor, Worldwide in London. Thereafter, he was promoted to Regional Administrative Director for Central Europe. From there, he became Managing Director of the Luxembourg Office and, next, the Amsterdam Office. In these positions, he was responsible for reducing expenses and increasing profitability, both of which he achieved.
Returning to London, he held the position of Director of Sales Supervision in charge of the UK, Middle East and European offices, and assisted in the development of newly acquired business in Japan. His varied senior management positions provided an in-depth understanding and solution-finding ability to aid marketing, as well as effective compliant/risk management of regulatory and market events.
